Free Supply of Stationery

Free Supply of Stationery to SC/ST/OBC/MIN is a Delhi Government (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) initiative where financial assistance is provided for the purchase of stationery to SC, ST, OBC, and Minorities students of class 1 to 12 studying in public school, Govt. aided schools, and Kendriya Vidyalaya, and their family income is up to two lakhs per annum. The scheme aims to fulfill day to day requirements of students that is elementary for getting a better education. The government transfers the amount in the bank account of the candidate. Free Supply of Stationery is provided those students who fulfill this eligibility.

Eligibility:

1.) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Delhi.
2.) The applicant should belong to the SC/ST//OBC/Minority community.
3.) The applicant should be studying class 1 to 12 in a public school, Govt. aided schools, and Kendriya Vidyalaya.
4.) The family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs 200000/- p.a. 5.) The applicant should not have less than 70% attendance in the previous academic year.

Financial Assistance:

1.) 1000/- per annum to students studying classes 1 to 8.
2.) 2000/- per annum to students studying classes 9 to 12.

Documents Required:

1.) Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued in the name of the student or his father’s name by SDM/Deputy commissioner (revenue), Govt. of NCT of Delhi. Domicile Certificate of Delhi is required if The caste (SC) certificate is not issued by the competent authority of Govt. of NCT of Delhi.

2.) In case of Minorities, declaration by guardian in the form of an affidavit on (in Non-Judicial Stamp paper of Rs 10/-) that his son/daughter belongs to a particular minority community and proof of residence in Delhi for the last 3 years also need to be obtained. In this regard, any one of the following will serve as proof of residence:
* Landline telephone bills of MTNL
* Driving license issued by GNCTD
* Pass-Book of Nationalized Banks
* Election photo ID card or Aadhar Number or Ration Card
* Domicile Certificate issued by SDM in Delhi.

3.) Income certificate.

4.) Bank Details of the candidates.

5.) Proof of attendance.

6.) Non-creamy layer certificate.

Eligible candidates can apply for the scholarship through their respective schools or directly to the Department of Welfare of SC/ST/OBC/Minority as the case may be.
The scheme will help less resourceful students to get a better education.
