Women’s education is said to be the lifeline of development. As when a woman becomes educated, she educates the whole family, whereas if a man becomes educated, only an individual becomes educated.
Education is an art to mold a woman into a free woman. It gives liberation to become strong mentally and physically. And, when the head is strong, there is a strong determination to achieve success. In sectors like nursing, teaching, medicine, and social work, Indian women prove themselves to be the best. Therefore, women are becoming vital to the development of the main sectors of the country.
As a primary socialization agent, schools have opportunities and responsibilities to include all students regardless of gender, identity, and behavior. It is the people of the society who encourage gender biases and gender discrimination.

Problems women face to acquire education:
It is not ideal to blame the government for the position of women in society. The problem starts with home and family. Here are some points that describe the issues that almost every woman faces in her daily life.
School Enrollment – Discrimination based on gender plays a role in a catalyst as an impediment to education. Education is the key to bring gender equality in society, hold their way to empowerment. An increase in literacy rate must bring society gender equality. India has still not achieved up to the expected rate.
Household responsibilities – The schools cannot create a liberal environment for a female child until there is equality in the house. A female child is said to be an ideal person only when she takes care of her household chores and her family. We can say the whole society on two wheels, male and female. However, if any gender remained neglect, it is not possible to run the world. Till now, in rural, females are not getting equal opportunities to study.
Social Attitude towards female education – Social barriers and mentality always block the way of females. There are places in India where the girls, after entering the puberty stage, are not allowed to go to school. And protect girls, until, gets married. So, naturally, the son of the family attains higher education and not the daughter.

How educational awareness give empowerment to women?
The Indian constitution grants equality to both gender of society. Today’s women are much liberated than women of the past. Male bastions have been broken by the women who are pilots, astronauts, scientists, etc. Though women have achieved an improved status in society, they are still known for their gentle behavior, manners, and docile nature. Today’s women are also raising their voices, not only for the reservation of schools and colleges but also for the parliament. Here some points which describe the importance of education.
Education is important. It delivers an equal right politically, socially, religiously, culturally, and genders. Women can enjoy a sense of equal status with the men. Education also gives wisdom and provides a motive to stand on her own feet. Henceforth, it is a vital part of society to educate a girl child properly.
However, empowerment is a psychological thing that varies from person to person. It consists of multiple levels of construction that refer to the individual and community. Therefore, motivating for empowerment through education can improve the position of women in our current society.
As per the United National Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), the term empowerment means:
* To acquire knowledge and understand gender relations and find out how to change to bring a change.
* Develop a sense of self-worth along with believing in one’s abilities to bring desired changes and control one’s life for something good.
* Having the confidence to make choices.
* Gaining the ability to influence the direction of social change in the field of economy, society, nation, and international.
Keeping women in the front foot with men and boys have the power to bring a positive change in every sector. The development of women is not only a part of the country’s development; instead is the core of improvement. To get rid of all kinds of inequality towards women, the government has educational awareness programs on gender equality and women empowerment to support the women and girls of the society.

Conclusion
Human right is for all humans, men, and women. Women are entitled to the same right as men. Female is often discriminating in many parts of India because they are female, and not male. There is an improvement in society. Unfortunately, this cruelty still exists in society. The vital objective to bring change in the status is education. It develops the idea of participation, equality, and decision making.
