For bringing the social transformation in society through making a social environment, everyone has to make the right decisions individually or collectively. It will bring empowerment to everyone in the community. Empowerment is the way of permitting every person to think, control their work and take action according to the situation individually. It is the correct way of acquiring knowledge, experiences, and power. There are always classes, genders, and people who become deprived of their common rights. It occurs in every state, society, and nation. They lack the essential awareness of their rights.

Among the deprived list, women come in the top list of it. Earlier, women were the most critical gender of society. In comparison, in today’s society, women are in decline. It results in a situation where women are underestimated and deprived of their fundamental rights. Hence, they get the second position in society for all empowering elements. The constitution of our country does not differentiate among any gender. It is the society that does it every time. So, to increase awareness, they should be encouraged to gain knowledge about it through education. Education will improve not only the position of the society but also their awareness.

Below are the points which give an idea of facilitating women of the society for education.

Inside the Classroom

  • An initiative to create a gender-sensitive environment. The classroom should be more student-centered and not gender-centered. The teacher can involve playing and studying in a creative way that the classroom becomes child-centered.

  • Recruit teachers who can provide child-centered classes. It is better to appoint male teachers as well as female teachers. It will automatically bring a sense in children about equality. They will learn gender equality through recognizing only.

  • Sports in the school help the students to enhance their interpersonal skills. A school should encourage students to participate in sports as most of the countries’ sports are male-dominant. At the same time, women should participate in sports to break the stereotype of society.

  • Health promotion in school is one of the essential parts that a school must practice. Providing a health screening will help scrutinize the students suffering from which disease or lacking nutrition.

  • Providing gender-neutral textbooks will help them to seed a good and healthy relationship with society. A student should learn it from the school, as it is their preliminary stage. In a country like Vietnam, the government has published books and textbooks that will help students learn about the indiscrimination between males and females.

  • In many countries, students have to quit studying due to their family responsibility. Especially girls who have to sacrifice their studies due to their family have asked them to do so. They are generally made to sit at home and cook for the other members who are earning or being sent to farms to take care of the cattle.

  • School should concentrate on the mother language first rather than showing more concern about other languages. According to a survey, there are more numbers of girls who do not know how to write their mother tongue. In the schools of Peru, they are first meant to learn Quechua rather than Spanish.

Outside the Classroom

  • Gender-specific statistics should be collected based on the millennium goals development to gather the numbers to develop. Girls of the schools and the teachers of that country should be analyzed based on the statistic that will be a minor step towards development.

  • Early enlightenment can help in vanishing the gender biases in society. Students in society should be taught about the generic dos and don’ts that lead to gender biases. In their preliminary stage, where the students’ base gets stronger is supposed to be appropriately treated to become the country’s future.

  • Taking special care of the disadvantaged girls of the society. These girls fall under the minority. They have to face a certain level of crime that is not highlighted and brought up by society. They should be provided with some special lev4el of care as they are also the party of the society.

  • In case the girl child has left her studies in the middle of the way due to family pressure, they should be able to continue their studies. They should be provided with certain facilities that will help them complete their studies within the schooling system or outside the schools, but education should be provided.

  • Schools should be closer to their homes as traveling consumes a lot of time. This becomes a reason that makes the girls drop their plan for picking studies.

Conclusion

Knowledge is the key to the empowerment and development of a country. Our country needs many things to change as it will enhance the gender-specific problems in the country. The women should not only be given facilities outside the school but also within the school.
